Texas Latino Evangelical Leader endorse Senator Barack Obama

McAllen, TX- The Rev. Dr. Antonio Bolainez, a powerful member of the National Coalition of Latino Clergy and Christian Leaders (a Washington DC based latino evangelical pastors advocacy organization) has endorsed Senator Barack Obama, as "the most talented nominee of the Democratic Party, to seek the Presidency of the United States", said yesterday the Rev. Bolaines a CONLAMIC Regional Vice-President in the south-central region of the United States."At this time when latino evangelical democrats are struggling to make up their minds about which candidate to support, it is my personal belief that Senator Obama has demonstrated a clear commitment to our community and his inspiring message of hope, brings the assurance that a new era of politics and government, is about to develop in this Country of ours", said also the Rev. Bolainez.

The Rev. Dr. Antonio Bolainez oversees over 4,000 latino evangelical pastors affiliated with CONLAMIC in Texas and neighbor States. He is also the radio host for "El Mundo Actual" a weekly radio show, broadcast around the Country."Senator Obama, has a better universal health concept than Senator Clinton does and his commitment to support a Comprehensive Immigration Reform legislation, is strong and objective", continued saying the Rev. Bolainez at a Press Conference yesterday.

The National Coalition of Latino Clergy and Christian Leaders (CONLAMIC) is a non-partisan latino christian pastor's advocacy organization, that encourages its members to participate in the political process and help the latino evangelical church to develop a more active political involvement, by bringing Pastors to Washington DC for legislative briefings and empowering the latino evangelical church's membership to register and get out the vote on election day.
The Rev. Miguel Rivera, President of CONLAMIC has endorsed Senator John McCain and Dr. Bolainez's endorsement, is representative of the more moderate faction of such conservative religious advocacy organization.
